The Collections

Shop by collection

Every collection is small, seasonal, and personally chosen. When a piece sells out, it is often gone for good. That is the point.

  • Hand-thrown, small-batch
  • Food-safe glazes
  • Dishwasher-tested
  • Maker story on every piece

Textiles & Throws

Woven throws, cushions, and table linens in natural fibers that soften with every wash.

  • Natural fibers only
  • Small-mill woven
  • Colorfast dyes
  • Sized for real sofas

Candles & Fragrance

Hand-poured candles and home fragrance with scent profiles you will not find at the mall.

  • Soy & coconut wax
  • Cotton wicks
  • 50+ hour burn
  • Refill program

Behind This Build: Notes from MalTar Designs

The brief: An independent boutique wants to sell online without losing what makes it special in person. The site has to feel curated, the opposite of a marketplace, while still delivering a modern, frictionless shopping and cart experience.

Design decisions

  • 1Editorial fashion-magazine typography and stark whitespace position the shop as a curator, not a catalog. Scarcity ("when it’s gone, it’s gone") is the brand.
  • 2A working cart drawer lives right in the first viewport, proving the full browse → add-to-bag → checkout flow customers expect from modern e-commerce.
  • 3Maker storytelling is woven into products and the about page, because provenance is the boutique buyer’s number-one purchase driver.
  • 4Objection-killers (30-day returns, shipping speed, gift wrap) surface before checkout, where cart abandonment actually happens.

Conversion features in this build

  • Interactive product grid with add-to-bag and live cart drawer
  • Editorial product presentation with prices and scarcity framing
  • Bestsellers / new-arrivals merchandising sections
  • Shipping, returns, and restock FAQ that pre-empts abandonment
  • Maker-story content structure for provenance-driven buyers
  • Local pickup + visit-the-shop path for hybrid retail
  • Mobile-first grid built for thumb-driven browsing
  • AI shop assistant for orders, gifts, and restock alerts

Want this level of thinking on your website?

Cove Goods is fictional. The strategy is real. We design every client site this deliberately, with transparent pricing and a monthly plan that keeps it growing after launch.
